Here’s What The Critics Are Saying About ‘Solo: A Star Wars Story’

Critics have seen Solo: A Star Wars Story and they've been tweeting their thoughts.

Solo: A Star Wars Story premiered in the U.S. last night, and as expected, the first reactions have landed online.

So far, the reactions appear to be mostly positive, with critics agreeing that the movie surpasses expectations and delivers a fun, energetic and surprising adventure. A lot of praise is being thrown in Donald Glover’s direction, which doesn’t come as much of a surprise. What is surprising, however, is that most critics seem to be on board with Alden Ehrenreich’s younger version of Han Solo, with a surprising number stating that the actor delivers a strong and refreshing performance.

Of course, not every reaction has been overwhelmingly positive, and it seems like some critics found Solo: A Star Wars Story to be clunky in the first act and predictable at various points throughout.
