‘Dungeons And Dragons’ Movie Eyes ‘The LEGO Batman Movie’ Director Chris McKay

'The LEGO Batman' director Chris McKay is in talks to direct the long-awaited Dungeons and Dragons movie.

The long-awaited Dungeons And Dragons film is finally moving forward.

According to Variety, Chris McKay (The LEGO Batman Movie) is being eyed to direct the feature film adaptation of the fantasy role-playing game, Dungeons And Dragons. McKay is currently in negotiations with Paramount Pictures, with the script being penned by Michael Gillio.

After directing The Lego Batman Movie, Chris McKay landed the Nightwing movie for Warner Bros. and DC Films. We’re still not sure when Nightwing will be released in theatres, and it’s unclear if Dungeons And Dragons could delay the highly-anticipated DC Comics movie. Dungeons And Dragons will be one of the first films to go into production for AllSpark Pictures – a production company that intends to create a Hasbro-centric cinematic universe that can rival the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
