Life Finds A Way In The First Trailer For ‘Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom’

Universal Pictures has released the first official trailer for J.A. Bayona's Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom.

After a week full of teasers and viral videos, Universal Pictures has fulfilled its promise and released the first official trailer for Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom.

The trailer gives us an idea of why any human would return to the island, as Bryce Dallas Howard’s Claire attempts to persuade Owen, portrayed by Chris Pratt, to help rescue the dinosaurs. For a first trailer, this is packed with a lot of awesome shots, including a few epic moments for the dinosaurs and the return of Jeff Goldblum’s Ian Malcolm. I would even say that the trailer enters spoiler territory, so don’t say I didn’t warn you.

“It’s been four years since theme park and luxury resort Jurassic World was destroyed by dinosaurs out of containment. Isla Nublar now sits abandoned by humans while the surviving dinosaurs fend for themselves in the jungles.

When the island’s dormant volcano begins roaring to life, Owen (Chris Pratt) and Claire (Bryce Dallas Howard) mount a campaign to rescue the remaining dinosaurs from this extinction-level event. Owen is driven to find Blue, his lead raptor who’s still missing in the wild, and Claire has grown a respect for these creatures she now makes her mission. Arriving on the unstable island as lava begins raining down, their expedition uncovers a conspiracy that could return our entire planet to a perilous order not seen since prehistoric times.”

Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom is directed by J.A. Bayona and stars Bruce Dallas Howard, Chris Pratt, Jeff Goldblum
