New ‘Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom’ Image And Plot Details Revealed

Entertainment Weekly has released an exciting new image from Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom.

As we patiently await the release of the first Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom trailer, Entertainment Weekly has released a new look at the sequel. In an awesome new image, we get an impressive look at Bryce Dallas Howard as she and Justice Smith, a new addition to the cast, stare down a pretty hungry looking dinosaur.

As you can see in the image, giant streams of lava are drooling from the ceiling, stopping the ravenous beast from devouring the human characters. In an interview with EW, Howard explains the lava and offers a few unexpected plot details ahead of this weeks trailer.

“Claire’s founded an organization, Dinosaur Protection Group, and they’re finding a way to get these dinosaurs off the island. She reaches out to Owen Grady to let him know this is happening.”

Absent from the image is Chris Pratt’s Owen, who was introduced as a badass dinosaur carer in Jurassic World. From the above quote, we can safely assume that Claire and Owen’s romantic relationship didn’t survive long after the events of the first movie. Who knows, maybe they only like each other when giant Dinosaurs are about to eat everyone.

Directed by J.A. Bayona, Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom stars Bryce Dallas Howard, Chris Pratt, Daniella Pineda, B.D. Wong, Ted Levin, Toby Jones, and James Cromwell. The film will also see the return of Jeff Goldblum as Ian Malcolm, who hasn’t appeared in the franchise for over 20 years.
