Until The Justice League marketing, I don’t think I had ever been simultaneously impressed, excited and disappointed, but that’s how I felt seeing the lack of Superman in Justice League trailers and posters.
Now that the film is in theatres though, it seems like Warner Bros. is rewarding me for my patience. The studio just released an updated version of the official Justice League poster, featuring Henry Cavill’s Superman.
Check out the poster below:
While I doubt a poster will change much, it could be argued that Superman has been added to the marketing in order to boost box-office returns. Justice League failed to open over $100 million domestically, which will undoubtedly result in major changes being made over at WB. Right now, we can only hope that Justice League proves to have legs and grossed enough in the next few weeks to make up for its disappointing weekend.
As for the poster itself, this is definitely something that I would hang on my wall, and is already replacing Wonder Woman as my new phone wallpaper.
