‘Supergirl’ Season 3 Images Tease A New Threat To National City

The CW has released a bunch of new images for the Supergirl season premiere, revealing an amazing new look at the superhero shows upcoming third season. 

Kara will have a new threat to face in National City! The CW has released a bunch of new images for the Supergirl season premiere, revealing an amazing new look at the superhero shows upcoming third season.

Following the events of season two, Supergirl season three will deal with the aftermath of Mon-El’s departure from Earth, as Kara throws herself into her duties as the girl of steel. The images feature fan-favourite characters Kara, Alex, Maggie, as well as an interesting look at some new villains, including Reign, a member of the Kryptonian-bred Worldkillers. Possibly the most noteworthy image though is the first look at Smallville star Erica Durance as Alura.

Jesse Warn directed the episode with story by Andrew Kreisberg and teleplay by Robert Rovner and Caitlin Parrish.
