‘Spider-Man: Homecoming’ Deleted Scene Name-Drops Miles Morales

A new deleted scene from Spider-Man: Homecoming name-drops future Spidey, Miles Morales.

While Miles Morales didn’t appear in Spider-Man: Homecoming, Marvel Studios made it very clear that the character exists within the Marvel Cinematic Universe. As the digital copy of the film is now available in the States, new deleted scenes have found their way online, with one specifically name-dropping the future Spider-Man.

The deleted scene comes from a hilarious sequence, in which Spidey interrogates Donald Glover’s character. We already suspected that Glover portrays Morales’ uncle, but this deleted scene confirms it, with the character talking to Miles on the phone.

Check out the scene below:

Thrilled by his experience with the Avengers, young Peter Parker returns home to live with his Aunt May. Under the watchful eye of mentor Tony Stark, Parker starts to embrace his newfound identity as Spider-Man. He also tries to return to his normal daily routine — distracted by thoughts of proving himself to be more than just a friendly neighbourhood superhero. Peter must soon put his powers to the test when the evil Vulture emerges to threaten everything that he holds dear.
