Possibly the most annoying aspect of Star Wars: The Force Awakens was the surprisingly small role Gwendoline Christie’s Captain Phasma had in the movie, but that role will be more significant in Rian Johnson’s Star Wars: The Last Jedi.
In a recent interview with Entertainment Weekly, Johnson briefly discussed Phasma’s enhanced role in the sequel, saying that the character will be thrown into action in The Last Jedi.
See what Johnson said below:
“Gwendoline Christie is one of my favourite people, and you get to see her in action which I think is going to be really fun. That character is just so damn cool looking. Like, okay, let’s see what we can do with her. Let’s put her in action and see what happens.”
