As promised, Warner Bros. has released an awesome new trailer for Blade Runner 2049, delivering our best look yet at Denis Villeneuve’s Blade Runner sequel. The second official trailer not only teases the incredible visual style but also offers a first-look at new characters, portrayed Ana de Armas, Sylvia Hoeks, and Robin Wright.
While the trailer does a great job of not spoiling the narrative, we do get more of Ryan Gosling as K and Harrison Ford returning as Deckard. Clearly, the relationship between these characters will be a major aspect of the film and luckily, it seems like there will be plenty to enjoy. Jared Leto’s Neander Wallace also has a larger role in this trailer, as does Dave Bautista.
Watch the trailer below:
Thirty years after the events of the first film, a new blade runner, LAPD Officer K (Ryan Gosling), unearths a long-buried secret that has the potential to plunge what’s left of society into chaos. K’s discovery leads him on a quest to find Rick Deckard (Harrison Ford), a former LAPD blade runner who has been missing for 30 years.
Directed by Denis Villeneuve (Arrival), Blade Runner 2049 stars Ryan Gosling, Harrison Ford, Dave Bautista, Jared Leto, and Robin Wright. The film will land in theatres on October 6, 2017!
