Universal Pictures has released the final trailer for The Mummy and I’ve got to admit, it might be the best piece of marketing we’ve seen for the film so far. I’ve not been extremely excited for the Tom Cruise led reboot of The Mummy but this trailer actually showed us some footage to get excited about. First of all, I’m glad they’ve actually got some footage and scenes that actually look scary. I get that this will be more of an adventure movie but at the same time, we need some horror elements in a cinematic universe featuring classic horror characters.
I will warn you that the trailer does show a bit more footage than I would have liked to see. There are a few reveals in this final trailer that probably would have been better saved for the actual movie, so if you’re already excited for The Mummy then I would recommend you not watch this trailer.
